About Us
Gold Starz Dance School was set up in 2011 by Keir French. Having been involved in the dance scene for some time he wanted to set up a school for his daughters to take over once old enough. The aim of the school initially was to provide low cost dance classes in an area that needed an affordable out of school activity. And, whilst this is still the aim, Gold Starz have now performed at Sadlers Wells, The Castle Theatre and other venues and projects are in the pipeline. IDTA & ADFP affiliated, the school is now running well with an amazing young team of teachers. So, if you want your child to perform on some of the best stages in the UK or if you want them to keep fit and make friends then Gold Starz is the place to be.

I love working with the Gold Starz Dancers and helping them achieve their ambitions.

Kaya Browne
Starting dance at the age of 8, trying out many dance styles and soon realised none were for me, I went on to find street dance where I felt free and myself, I could be different personas while still being me, it helped me gain confidence as well as gain a different kind of technique.
Throughout my history I went on to do level 3 dance at Northampton college, studying for 2 years, On top of college I continued to dance in 2 strong dance crews competing I have had multiple opportunities throughout my years of dance.
Opportunities such as dancing with famous choreographers like as Parrish Gobel, Wildabeast and more while collecting multiple trophies at battles such as HDI Camp, it didn’t stop there, I managed to claim titles along the way, travelling the world representing England at the age of 14 going to countries such as Spain, Denmark, Italy and others, collecting and building my knowledge of street dance in a wider range allowing me to prepare for my future.
Being a new teacher and having such a wide range of knowledge in my style of dance i wanted to give back to people and Gold Starz is the best place for that,to be part of a tight connected dance school was a privilege it wasn’t just dance it was home from home a welcoming family with so much fire and passion when they dance ,who all supported each other. I can honestly say I can’t wait to see what the future holds for the school and I’m excited to be part of it.
